Kí Vapors
Ki Vapors is a leading e-liquid and lifestyle brand sold worldwide which has created its own path, focusing on uniqueness, quality, and innovation. They develop their own products that not only stand out above the rest but have great mass appeal. I was tasked with branding and marketing for a new, electronic vaping device set to launch worldwide. The “Ki” device is entering a saturated market with vape pens but needed to stand out and appeal to a growing audience of users. Logo, branding, and marketing were all entrusted to me. Below are the successful results of my research, ideas, and designs.

Logos: The client wanted clean and modern branding to match their new, sleek electronic vape pen. The logo needed to be timeless, contemporary, and stylish. I always like to start with traditional pencil and paper to create initial thumbnail sketches and develop from there. Below are a few concepts from paper to screen.
3d renderings After completing a few renditions of logos, I mocked them up on a manufacturer-provided 3d rendered prototype. At this point, the vape pen hadn’t been manufactured-not until the branding was completed and approved. After a few rounds of revisions and edits, a final logo was agreed upon which touched on all of the requirements. A logo that can stand on its own, timeless, contemporary, and stylish.
Packaging and mockups After creating the logo, a unique packaging design was created to allow Ki to stand out from the competition on store shelves. Manufacturer packaging specs were provided to create unique designs. Once the packaging was agreed upon I created packaging mock-ups to represent what the box will look like prior to printing and also for presentation purposes. I utilized 3d rendered photoshop box templates to create the images shown below in different offerings.
Lifestyle mockups With the e-liquid industry becoming dangerously enticing to teens and kids, this brand needed to stay miles away from that concept. This brand was meant to be for the grown, trendy, confident and sophisticated adults who can would see Ki as an everyday accessory that they never left home without. I created the following images to highlight what that might look for men and women.
Pitch deck After Ki branding and packaging was completed, the final step in the launch was to create a pitch deck to present to retailers nationwide. I was entrusted to create the presentation for c-level executives to present the product as a whole including lifestyle imagery, branding, packaging and product specifications. The results were a focused brand and identity that was appealing to investors and target consumers that allowed Ki Vapors to become a serious competitor in the vape device vertical.
